En 1960, el Accutron Spaceview transformó la percepción de los relojes al situar su mecanismo interno en el centro del diseño. La más reciente colaboración entre Esterbrook y Accutron traslada este concepto al modelo Estie, dando lugar a un instrumento de escritura transparente que permite observar su estructura desde cualquier ángulo.
El Spaceview es el primer modelo Estie de tipo «demostrador» (transparente) fabricado por Esterbrook. Su capuchón y cuerpo, elaborados en acrílico pulido, dejan a la vista las roscas, los conectores, el sistema de carga y los componentes internos que, por lo general, permanecen ocultos. La sección de agarre, en un tono acrílico verde característico del reloj Accutron Spaceview, se complementa con detalles en bronce y elementos metálicos chapados en oro, visibles a través del cuerpo transparente.
El emblema del diapasón de Accutron está presente en toda la pieza: aparece lacado en la parte superior del capuchón, en el anillo personalizado del mismo y en el plumín chapado en oro. La marca Esterbrook se integra tanto en el diseño como en el estuche, uniendo ambos nombres sin restar protagonismo a la transparencia de la estructura.

In 1960, the Accutron Spaceview changed how people looked at a watch by placing its inner workings at the center of the design. The newest Esterbrook x Accutron collaboration carries that idea into the Estie, creating a transparent writing instrument that allows its construction to be seen from every angle.
The Spaceview is the first transparent demonstrator Estie produced by Esterbrook. Its polished acrylic cap and barrel reveal the threads, connectors, filling system, and internal writing components that are usually concealed. An Accutron green acrylic grip draws from the signature color of the Spaceview watch, complemented by bronze-toned finials and gold-plated metalwork visible through the clear body.
Accutron's tuning fork emblem appears across the pen, including a lacquered emblem set into the top dome, the custom cap band, and the gold-plated fountain pen nib. Esterbrook branding is integrated across the design and packaging, bringing both names together without distracting from the transparent construction.
