The notepad has thick yet flexible paper covers, with minimal text printed on both the front and back in a soft ochre color. The front cover is scored so that it folds back neatly, and thick cardboard just inside the back cover provides support when you are writing without a hard surface. Each sheet is printed with a light 5 mm x 5 mm grid on the front, while the back is blank. Each sheet is micro perforated at the top and at about halfway down the sheet, so you can get two squares of paper out of one sheet if needed.
